How it started…
Hi! So if you don’t know me, my name is Vicky Tortorici (Kowal) and I have been a graphic designer since 2007. I started VK Design in 2011 when I got out of a terrible corporate job and with the encouragement of my then boyfriend (now husband) Paul, to go out on my own.
Paul and S&P
Anyone who knows Paul, knows he started S&P Tees (his screen printing business) back in 1988. And he built up quite a business. I came along in 1994 and initially started helping him out with picking up printed shirts as they came off the dryer or folding and bagging drag race designs. In 2003, while I was in college obtaining my bachelors of art degree in graphic design, I started doing t-shirt designs as well.
Paul retires. 🙁
Paul and I built up his business over the years and in 2023, Paul retired from full time printing himself. Time had worn out a shoulder and a knee and it was time for him to get them fixed. I took over the day to day, getting orders printed and delivered to customers. Paul is still involved, but after 35 years of running S&P, he is enjoying his well deserved retirement.
The future..
Nothing has changed with S&P Tees other than the name you see on the invoice. The quality and service you have come to expect remain with even more now available…
